The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of an integrated communications strategy for the market and as part of the broader Central Region team.
This role will be reporting to the Market Director and will be instrumental in shaping and executing internal communication strategies within the market. The Internal Communications Manager provides leadership and support for internal communications efforts in support of clinics facilities and services within the Market.
The role works in coordination and under the direction and alignment of the region and system marketing & communications leadership teams respectively.
Responsibilities
Internal Communications Manager
Location: Omaha, NE
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal communication strategies and plans to effectively communicate the organization's mission, values, and regional key messages to stakeholders, employees, other internal audiences (e.g., physicians, nurses, volunteers, etc.), and the markets we serve.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction within the region.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of internal communication channels
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance leadership communication within the region.
- Plan and execute internal events and campaigns to promote employee engagement, wellness, and organizational initiatives.
- Oversee the development and production of internal communication materials, including newsletters, memos, presentations, and videos.
- Provide training and support to leaders and employees on effective internal communication practices.
- Develop and implement communication plans to effectively communicate organizational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, and process improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies to gather employee feedback and measure employee satisfaction within the region.
- Support crisis communication plans to effectively manage and respond to potential crises or emergencies.
- Lead and manage a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication channels and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as HR, IT, and clinical teams, to gather information and create compelling content.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications Business or related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing and/or communications roles preferably within the healthcare industry.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic marketing and communications plans.
Strong understanding of healthcare marketing and communications trends regulations and best practices.
