Virtually Integrated CareSM (VICSM) provides assistance to the bedside team and patient/family through the use of virtual technology. The virtually integrated careSM nurse is there to unburden the workload of the frontline care team by assisting with essential nursing functions, providing the bedside team more time to focus on patient/family care needs. Virtually Integrated CareSM enhances the professional practice of nursing by utilizing a strong professional shared governance structure that ensures that the frontline staff feedback is embedded within the care model.

What does CommonSpirit Health’s Virtually Integrated Care Model look like?
This transformational care model utilizes an experienced virtually integrated careSM nurse seamlessly infused into the patient care team to provide pivotal support to the bedside team through mentoring new staff so they feel more comfortable in practice, unburdening workload of the care team, and cultivating interdisciplinary collaborative patient care. This position is "virtual", meaning that RNs will support the bedside team through the use of virtual technology. This position is fully remote with initial onsite training.
Virtual Care Implementation RN
Virtual Care Implementation RNs are critical in staffing CommonSpirit Health's Virtually Integrated CareSM models who support the bedside care team in facilities across the CommonSpirit Health enterprise. You will leverage your well-rounded professional competence and autonomy to support standardizing and sustaining critical virtually integrated care workflows. You will be the center of coordination and communication for a multidisciplinary team using innovative computer technologies. You will function as a dynamic change leader and perform as a clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and leader. If you are passionate about innovation, transformational, evidence-based practice, and leading project implementations, this role is for you.
Virtually Integrated Care RN
As a Virtually Integrated Care RN, you will provide vital support to the bedside team and the patient/family using virtual technology. You will significantly enhance the patient experience and assist the bedside care team with essential nursing functions, collaborating with the onsite care teams, and ensuring each patient receives the highest level of care. You'll use innovative computer technologies to provide real-time virtual inter-collaborative nursing support to on-site patient care teams across 140+ facilities in 21 states. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary patient care teams, provide guidance and mentorship, and lead the plan of care to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients. Your refined communication skills, positive attitude, and knowledge of various diagnoses and situations ranging from minor to critical will be crucial to your success as a highly skilled resource for on-site patient care teams.
