Overview

Radiologic Technologist II PRN

As our Radiologic Technologist II you will be competent to perform complete diagnostic radiography procedures on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols under the direction of Medical Director. Individual Maintains patient safety through attention to detail, equipment safety checks, adherence to department policies, and with effective communication with physicians, staff and patients. Provides patient orientation, procedure explanation, and pre and post diagnostic care to completion of test. Performs complete diagnostic imaging exams inclusive of positioning patient, calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. Assists patients with basic patient care needs. Provides emergency care, notifying appropriate personnel and Ensures that patient safety is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of x-ray imaging units and related equipment
  • Daily operations of Imaging's x-ray section and patient schedule
  • Assist the radiologists in the performance of complex interventional procedures

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Education:  Associates Degree, Allied Health or Radiologic Technology
  • Experience:  Minimum of 1 year imaging experience (including training)

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • ARRT (R)
  • MRT
