Overview

As our Cardiovascular Technologist II at CHI St. Vincent North, you will help patients with cardiovascular conditions receive critical diagnostic and interventional support so they can achieve better heart health outcomes.

Every day, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds. You will be expected to assist in interventional procedures, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of results.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in cardiovascular technology, strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and adjust procedures based on patient conditions and observations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient history, assessments, and procedural modifications.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and safe patient care.
  • Perform and assist with radiologic procedures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide education and supervision to students, pursue ongoing professional development, and uphold a safe clinical environment.


We are offering a sign on bonus up to $10,000  to hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement and relocation assistance.


Qualifications
  • Diploma in Imaging from an accredited program college, or university
  • At least (2) year experience as a cardiovascular Technologist in cath lab setting
  • Active Medical Radiographer license in good standing in Arkansas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days of hire
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
