Overview

Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center is a non-profit facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Prescott and Prescott Valley, AZ. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 139 hospitals and more than 1,000 care sites across 24 states, making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.

If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us.

As our Speech Therapist at Dignity Health-Yavapai Regional Medical Center , now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you’ll increase our patients’ independence by helping them eat and drink safely, improve memory or cognitive issues, or communicate their needs and wishes more clearly.

No two days are the same here. Working with a team of dedicated physicians, therapists, and other health professionals, our outpatient Speech Therapists work to improve swallowing, articulation, memory, attention span, pragmatic language, impulse control, and more. Using various exercises and modalities, we work to get the patient as close to their prior levels of speech and cognition as possible. We may also recommend devices, such as augmented speech devices to allow patients to order in a restaurant or communicate with their doctors, giving them back a measure of independence and improving quality of life.

To thrive in this role, you should be flexible, calm, compassionate, curious, and adaptable. Above all, you must be committed to improving our patients' safety, independence, and quality of life. We strive to provide excellent care every day, and you are an integral part of that.
