St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Special Procedures / Cardiac Cath Rad Tech to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with a wide range of complex and specialized procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and vascular interventions.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate specialized equipment used in a variety of interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians with patient positioning, draping, and sterile technique.
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics throughout procedures.
- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) year experience as an interval radiology/cardiac catheterization radiologic technologist with specialty fields of coronary angiographic vascular and electrophysiology
- ARRT ACLS RTT and CPR/BLS certifications required
- Extensive knowledge of all department protocols and procedures
- Ability to work tactfully and effectively with follow staff members physicians and the patient population
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Show aptitude for supervision and have work or college level supervision course or be willing to take courses in supervision to assist them in this position
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
This position is represented by SEIU Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
