Responsibilities

As an Area Director of Business Development, you must reside in one of these three states, CO, UT, AZ or NV.  Your key responsibilities are:

Sales & Customer Relations Excellence

  • Partner with leadership teams to design and execute tailored sales and marketing plans for our diverse service offerings.
  • Work with physicians, health professionals, and various stakeholders to grow and strengthen our referral networks while maintaining competitive market intelligence.
  • Implement innovative customer relations programs and ensure ongoing engagement with key accounts, cultivating long-term relationships.
  • Manage our MD Portal product, ensuring smooth training and communication with clients, and lead technical aspects of portal usage.

Leadership & Staff Development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to meet and exceed sales, referral, and financial goals.
  • Inspire your team with an “expectation of excellence,” cultivating an environment of trust, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide staff with training, career growth opportunities, and mentorship to foster a culture of collaboration and success.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate quality improvement initiatives, contributing to an enhanced patient experience.

Operational & Strategic Excellence

  • Help drive business growth by identifying new service offerings, recommending new market opportunities and adhere to organizational policies and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals, ensuring top-tier patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Champion the development of marketing strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee daily operations of the sales and customer relations teams, ensuring resource optimization and goal alignment.

Qualifications

Must Reside In One of These States: Colorado, Arizona, Utah or Nevada!

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience managing healthcare sales, customer relations, or care transition teams in home healthcare is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the designated area is required.
  • Experience in sales leadership within the healthcare industry, specifically in home healthcare or managed care is preferred.
