At Community Health at Home we strive to embody our mission of delivering hope and healing to those we serve. As a Regional Clinical Educator, you’re responsible for the initial and ongoing training and in-services for all clinical positions in assigned locations. Other responsibilities include:

  • Working with Talent Development and others to develop continuing education programs acceptable to meet the appropriate state(s) CEU requirements.

  • Performing ongoing competency testing for clinical staff. Supports development of new clinical staff in the field.

  • Providing hands-on clinical training and guidance.

  • Developing, training, and overseeing peer mentors, preceptors and work coaches to provide support and additional assistance to clinical staff.

  • Participating in clinical program development and training.

  • Instructing clinical staff on proper use of clinical software. 

  • Acting as a super user for technology for field staff resources and documentation.

  • Participating in the implementation of an annual in-service and education calendar.

  • Staying abreast of changing clinical practices, procedures, and technologies

Qualifications

  • Current RN license (BSN preferred) in good standing to practice in the state(s) of service.

  • Minimum three years Medicare home care experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of home care regulations required.

  • Effective teaching, training, or in-service educator skills and experience required.

  • OASIS certification must be obtained within the first two years of employment.

  • Ability to travel to assigned locations as needed.
