Responsibilities

About this opportunity:

The MM II is responsible for reporting daily to the supervisor as the general condition of the facility and progress of work being accomplished. Completes casualty prevention work orders within specifiec deadline dates. Performs daily rounds, tests and spot checks of equipment and areas of responsibility. Properly documents daily work performance on time. Makes entries into appropriate logs and journals. Takes responsibility for the cleanliness and safety of assigned mechanical spaces and rooftops. Performs preventative maintenance within the month assigned. Coordinates the efforts of the assigned area with those of other areas to ensure overall success. Verifies that customers are communicated with regarding established deadlines to ensure their expectations are met. Inspects mechanical spaces for cleanliness, performs corrective and preventative maintenance and operations checks as assigned. Ensures high quality output of services, the efficient use of resources, and a safe work environment that meets all government and regulatory guidelines. Is expected performs these duties both during regularly scheduled hours and is to routinely be on-call throughout certain days, weeks, and months of the year or as departmental scheduling warrants.


Qualifications
  • Two to five year mechanical electrical steam boiler building maintenance or HVAC background required preferably in healthcare environment.
  • Must be mobile on ladders arc-welding experience.
  • Operate: drill press metal saws 1/4 to 1/2 drain snake actaline torch operation alloy and silver solder application.
