Join Our Team as a Per Diem CT Technologist at St. Clare Hospital!

Are you a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist looking for a flexible opportunity to make a real difference in patient care? St. Clare Hospital is seeking a dedicated Per Diem CT Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team!

At St. Clare Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our community. As a Per Diem CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing medical issues by utilizing state-of-the-art computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

In this role, you will:

  • Be the Expert: Interpret physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly prepare and operate CT scan equipment.
  • Provide Exceptional Patient Care: Position patients comfortably and safely to capture the appropriate images, while providing basic patient care and ensuring their well-being.
  • Ensure Accuracy and Efficiency: Submit accurate and timely imaging, patient history documentation, and case charges.
  • Contribute to a Positive Environment: Support departmental initiatives focused on patient and employee satisfaction, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Maintain the Highest Standards: Perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
  • Embrace Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest advancements in CT technology and best practices by attending department meetings, learning from radiologists, and staying informed about CHI Franciscan standards, protocols, and procedures.
  • Uphold Quality and Compliance: Perform quality assurance audits and activities, as well as incidental office duties, to ensure timely and complete patient records and a highly functioning department.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology, including coursework in cross-sectional anatomy (or demonstrated skill/knowledge).
  • One year of work experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
  • Required: American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification.
  • Required: Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
  • Required: State of Washington Registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Preferred: CT Registration.
