St Joseph Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Tacoma, WA , is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rad Tech to join our dynamic Imaging Department. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan.

About the Role:

As a Rad Tech, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  •  Performing a variety of imaging procedures:  Operating X-ray equipment, CT scanners, and other imaging modalities to capture clear and accurate images.
  •  Patient care and communication:  Providing a welcoming and reassuring experience for patients, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing any concerns.
  •  Maintaining equipment and supplies:  Ensuring the proper functioning of imaging equipment and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  •  Adhering to safety protocols:  Following strict safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
  •  Collaborating with other healthcare professionals:  Working closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  •  Documenting procedures and results:  Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all imaging procedures and findings.

Qualifications
  • Associates Degree  from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  •  Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Current Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
