Drive Healthcare Innovation: Program Manager, VMFH Care Network
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead and expand our innovative Care Network. We are a collaborative membership program connecting select independent health systems, hospitals, provider groups, and healthcare organizations across the region. Our members gain access to VMFH's extensive clinical, business, educational, research, and operational expertise, enabling them to remain independent, competitive, and deliver exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
As the VMFH Care Network Program Manager, you will be a key driver of our growth and success. You will play a pivotal role in supporting and expanding our network of member organizations, including state hospital associations, by developing and implementing impactful programs and services aligned with VMFH's strategic business plans. This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
- New Product/Service Development: Collaborate with VMFH leaders to develop and launch innovative Care Network products and services, enhancing the standard of care. This includes leading process flow development, resource mapping, pricing strategies, and marketing collateral creation. You will also play a key role in developing and managing a comprehensive, externally-facing telehealth program leveraging VMFH resources.
- Partner Implementations: Effectively introduce and implement Care Network products/services to member organizations, providing project management leadership throughout the implementation process. Manage contracts, coordinate client site visits, and ensure seamless integration.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Care Network members, including executive leaders and board members. Foster collaboration among members to share resources, knowledge, and innovation. Manage client communication, billing, and Salesforce data.
- Operational Accountability: Plan, direct, and evaluate existing Care Network programs, ensuring timely, cost-effective operations and compliance. Produce reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), manage budgets, and oversee grant funds. Educate VMFH staff on Care Network offerings and collaborate on educational content and leadership meetings.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, strategic planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and launch new products/services.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, risk management, and timely delivery.
- Expertise in telehealth program development and implementation (Northwest market experience a plus).
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with experience interacting with executive-level stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of healthcare finance, operations, and relevant regulations.
