As our Quality Analyst Senior at Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center, you will help our healthcare team ensure quality and excellence in patient care so they can provide the best possible outcomes for our patients. Every day you will be reviewing and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement and implementing quality initiatives.
You will be expected to lead quality improvement projects, develop performance metrics, and provide guidance to staff on quality-related issues. To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of healthcare quality standards, experience in data analysis and interpretation, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Facilitates development and implementation of data collection tools and processes including the ability to identify data elements needed to complete appropriate measurement perform timely data collection and abstraction per specifications and validate data prior to submission or preview reports prior to publication.
- Generates reports and analyses to support related quality improvement patient safety patient experience and operational effectiveness using key statistical tools including but not limited to run charts bar charts pie charts control charts and cause and effect diagrams. Analyzes data and identifies key findings and develops action plans. Presents complex data with simplicity of design in a clear easy to understand format.
- Learns understands and becomes proficient in relevant facility Dignity Health and external data sources and systems including but not limited to clinical process and outcome data electronic health record data event reporting data and patient complaints etc. (e.g. Midas+ iVOS ATLAS etc.). Assists in designing developing maintaining and updating clinical and other databases based on department and organizational needs.
- Collaborates on multidisciplinary teams and provides analytical support for various projects related to quality improvement patient safety patient experience and outcomes as appropriate. Interprets explains and discusses data analysis results.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors Degree in nursing, business, healthcare administration or related area required
Ability to communicate in a professional and articulate manner
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Five (5) years healthcare experience
Complex, abstract problem solving capabilities to maintain system-wide functions
Understanding of the complexities of the health care environment
Comfortable as a team member and informational leader
Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, plan and deliver projects with minimal direction. High level of initiative and strong business judgment.
Works well under pressure while completing tasks quickly and accurately
Strong analytical abilities, organization and project/process management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve goals
Ability to apply creative thinking to service line themes, content and strategic solutions in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor; team player orientation
Ability to interface with internal/external partners at all levels
Preferred:
- Masters Degree in nursing, business, healthcare administration or related area
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- Facilitator skills.
- Skilled at planning, organizing, communicating, cooperating, delegating, and working without direct supervision.
- Proficient in Google workspace
