Responsibilities
The Senior Data Administrator is responsible for maintaining the data integrity of the prospect moves management system, facilitating constituent reporting and analysis, supporting prospect research services, and assisting in overall CRM operations for the Barrow Neurological Foundation. Reports to the Philanthropy Prospect Manager.
- Understands how to store, manipulate, and retrieve data from the database. Generates prospect and moves management reports, pledge reminders, constituent lists, and various reports for foundation staff as needed.
- Coordinates data entry into the CRM including data input, updating constituent information, and duplicate entries to maintain data integrity. This includes monitoring and updating donor groups and recognition programs such as planned giving societies, donor giving levels, and donor recognition walls and lists.
- Creates best practices to evaluate internal systems for efficiency, inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data. This includes the management of user roles and responsibilities.
- Collaborating with the development team and executive leadership to identify areas of improvement within the CRM.
- Identify and qualify prospective donors within the CRM creating new avenues for effective prospecting and stewardship.
- Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics to take complicated problems and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
- Become the CRM super user for the foundation and provide training to staff on CRM functions, particularly those related to prospect development and moves management.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience and Education Required:
- Four (4) years of experience using CRM systems.
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics, processes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
Special Skills Required:
- Advanced knowledge of Excel including statistical analysis, survey tools, and research techniques with proficiency in Pivot tables and other related tools.
- Experience applying analytical methods to complex business problems, driving improved decision making and outcomes.
- Advanced critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
