More than just a role, it's a calling. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll be a key member of our healthcare team, working directly with patients and providers to ensure the highest quality of care. You'll play a vital role in patient wellbeing, from initial assessment to follow-up care.
What you'll do:
- Provide comprehensive patient care: Greet patients, obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.), and prepare them for examinations.
- Assist with procedures: Draw blood samples, administer medications (oral, injection, topical, etc.), and perform EKGs.
- Ensure smooth operations: Schedule diagnostic tests, follow up on results, and communicate with patients.
- Maintain a safe and efficient environment: Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
- Accurate documentation: Meticulously document patient information, test results, and treatment plans in the medical record.
- Proactive problem-solving: Identify and escalate any non-routine issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols: Complete required safety checklists and quality control measures.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
Required Licensure and Certifications:
- Current Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Non certified Medical Assistant applicants are encouraged to apply
- AHA Basic Life Support certification within thirty (30) days of hire
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business, periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant experience
