Materials Management Tech II - Materials Management

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients! St. John's Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and organized Materials Management Tech II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of medical supplies and equipment throughout our hospital.


Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Process purchase orders, receiving, and stocking of materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to identify and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Meets minimum competencies of Materials Management Tech I
  • Three to six months of inventory management experience.
  • An understanding of large ERP systems.
  • Valid California driver license.
  • Competent in Microsoft Word Outlook and basic computer operations.
  • Six to twelve months related work experience in a hospital stockroom or warehouse preferred.
  • Forklift operation certification and/or experience preferred. 

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
