Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Safety Administration, or Emergency Management required, or a combination of education and/or job related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in managing security and safety programs in a healthcare facility required.
- Security related training and professional affiliation required.
- Current Driver's License issued by the State along with satisfactory DMV report on file or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire required.
- Knowledge of Life Safety, The Joint Commission (TJC), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (MS) and OSHA regulations and standards required.
- Completion of National Incident Management System (NIMS) compliant ICS 100HC, 200HC, 700 & 800 courses or state equivalent required.
- Workplace violence training required within 6 months of employment.
- American Hospital Association compliant CPR BLS required within 90 days of employment.
