Overview

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas has a full-time opportunity for a Transcriptionist to join our team in Little Rock at our Kanis location.

Responsibilities

The Medical Transcriptionist transcribes medical dictation into medical record chart in proper format; records necessary identification information on all appropriate forms; routes transcribed charts to physician for physician sign off; prepares medical record routing forms for dictation; maintains documentation of daily work production and turns in weekly time sheet.  Meets job standard requirements on a daily basis; responsible for keeping transcription current; performs other duties as assigned.  


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology; familiar with dictation and transcription equipment. 
  • Accurately type at least 70 wpm.
