Overview

CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas has a full-time opportunity for a Cardiology Clinic Procedure Scheduler to join our team in Little Rock at our Kanis location.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments
  • Coordinates multiple schedules/ GEMMS, Outlook, Google etc. 
  • Schedules hospital procedures, tests, outpatient services and return visits for multiple physicians
  • Collaborates with nurses and physicians to ensure clinics run smoothly
  • Effectively communicates appointments and instructions to patients 
  • Communicates with physician offices, medical supply companies, transportation and living facilities about patient care and appointments
  • Schedules translation services as needed
  • Fax referrals to specialty clinics
  • Mails appointment reminders and instructions when needed
  • Covers other schedulers as needed
  • Schedules all new patient consults
  • Requires travel to outreach clinics with physician 2-3 days per week.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School diploma or general education degree.
  • Experience: 1 year experience in medical office preferred.
