The posted compensation range of $42.85 - $63.77 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Provides oversight of the activities on a nursing unit during a specific shift including serving as a resource to staff directing patient flow assuring appropriate utilization of resources and providing oversight for the provision of quality care in a manner satisfying to patients.Position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee will support the organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the hospital wide performance improvement plan.

You'll advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential, which aligns with your department's operational goals and objectives.
To thrive in this role, you need to be accountable and confident. You're an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups. It's also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit.

Qualifications
Minimum:
AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
American Heart Association BLS
American Heart Association ACLS
American Heart Association PALS (within 90 days of hire)
Two years recent ED experience
Preferred:
Charge Nurse Experience
BSN
