Responsibilities
About the Role:
As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing a variety of radiographic procedures, including but not limited to general radiography, fluoroscopy, and potentially other modalities depending on experience and departmental needs.
- Preparing patients for examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Utilizing and maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and standards of practice.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology. One year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities required. Work experience involving the current technical aspects of patient care in a radiology department is preferred.
License/Certification:
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) required.
- State of Washington Certification as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
