JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a dynamic PHLEBOTOMIST SR. who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients who under the direct supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor obtains and/or prepares specimens for analysis.
Located on the second floor of the MERCY GILBERT MEDICAL CENTER campus the CLINICAL LABORATORY SERVICES DEPARTMENT is excited to have you join our team. Although the lab is always its own entity we play a critical role in the healing culture of the hospital. Numerous vendors have stated how they enjoy coming to our lab because everyone is so helpful and friendly. The staff believes that training is a journey and not a destination so everyone is approachable for questions. We constantly strive to provide the best quality care to our patients; therefore we are always implementing better ways to do things. Since we have only been opened since 2006 you won't hear us say "We don't do it that way". We want your great ideas. Our newest employees are our greatest assets as they bring ideas from other laboratories. We hire generalists who are comfortable in chemistry hematology and blood bank. We send our microbiology tests to our sister hospital but do perform stat gram stains on site.
