Responsibilities
At Dignity Health Mercy Gilbert Medical Center we deliver humankindness through a wide range of health social and support services in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona. As part of our team you will provide clinical expertise; support and oversight that helps ensure our patients receive exceptional care. Expectations:
- Education for the Labor & Delivery Service line.
- Provides support and consult on quality education based on learning needs to the employees of Dignity Health East Valley Hospitals and Urgent Care Centers.
- Collaborates with management under the direct supervision of the Manager or Director of Education Administration on all phases of employee development.
- Designs organizes, implements and evaluates evidence-based educational programs orientations and continuing education that facilitate the professional growth skill development and competency of staff.
- These programs primarily support the organization's mission vision values and strategic goals to ensure quality safety and service in patient and family-centered care.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- 5 years clinical practice in Labor & Delivery Service line required
- BSN required
- Current AZ RN license
- Current American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS required for Educator if assigned to monitored areas
- Experience with Windows and word processing applications required
Preferred:
- Specialty certification and/or 2 years teaching
- Experience with spreadsheets databases graphics applications
- Master degree
