Job Summary

The System Manager, Marketing Data at CommonSpirit Health will play a pivotal role in optimizing our marketing data systems to drive data-informed strategies and decision-making. This individual will oversee the management and integration of marketing data systems, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis and reporting. The role demands a proactive individual with a deep understanding of marketing analytics and data management, capable of collaborating with various departments to build the marketing data infrastructure needed to meet business objectives.

  • Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of marketing data systems and infrastructure.
  • Oversee data integration from various marketing and non-marketing platforms and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Design and execute comprehensive data reports and dashboards to support marketing strategies and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define data requirements and provide insights for campaign optimization and performance.
  • Manage data governance processes, including data quality, security and compliance with relevant regulations. Develop and maintain comprehensive marketing data dictionaries.
  • Develop and implement data quality evaluations and audits to detect anomalies, inefficiencies, inconsistencies and inaccuracies within the data. 
  • Document data flows and connections in order to monitor and troubleshoot issues as they arise, and escalate to the appropriate teams when needed.  
  • Provide technical support and training to marketing staff on data tools and systems.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations in data management.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the marketing department and IT/BI to ensure seamless data operations and system integration.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define data classification standards and access controls in accordance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee relationships with data vendors for the various application datasets to ensure effective data management and service delivery.


Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing data management experience
  • Proven experience managing and analyzing large datasets, and proficiency with data visualization tools and platforms.
  • Certifications in data management, analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional) or Adobe Experience Platform products are preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of marketing data systems, including CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders as well as partner closely with IT professionals.
  • Experience with data governance practices and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
