The System Manager, People Support Services (PSS) - Implementation is responsible for managing a team of Sr.
Implementation Analysts. Oversees the successful implementation, project management, and integration of HR systems
across the organization. Partnership with IT, other PSS leaders and HR stakeholders is critical to driving performance
excellence, a culture focused on continuous improvement and meeting CommonSpirit Health’s evolving business needs.


Responsibilities

*This is a Remote Opportunity

Leads, mentors, and develops a team of Sr. Implementation Analysts, providing guidance, training, and
performance feedback. Fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting teamwork and
individual growth. Manages team workload, resource allocation, and project assignments in partnership with the
Implementation Managers.


• Actively engage in new project scoping & estimating activities, and collaborate with PSS - Systems in providing
resource estimates & capacity management oversight.
• Continuously evaluate and improve implementation processes, identifying areas for optimization and
streamlining. Implement best practices and industry standards to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the
team.
• Collaborates with the M & A team and serves as the liaison with the PSS team to ensure smooth transactions and
involvement of key stakeholders.
• Independently leads projects of all sizes (ideally focused on mid and high complexity) within HR or across multiple
functions. Manages all aspects of the project life cycle: Initiate, Plan, Design, Develop, Test, Implement, and Close
to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations. Responds to and
resolves escalated issues, troubleshoots and develops solutions to project problems or challenges. Communicates
project milestones, completion dates, costs, risks, issues, contingencies and other significant matters to team and
stakeholders.
• Work closely with sponsors, process owners, and subject matter experts to develop and deploy implementation
plans and other project tools, establish metrics and improvement targets, drive projects to completion, and
monitor effectiveness of solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in HR systems implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; Master’s Preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing/ supervising
employees Required. 
Eight (8) years of total project management experience, with at least
three (3) of those years being in HR support services and technology.

PMP Certification Preferred.

Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following
areas:
● Ability to lead others through change
● Proven ability to train and develop staff
● Demonstrates good judgment in making decisions and
solving problems
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Effective presentation and facilitation skills
● Demonstrated skills to assess customer needs
● Understanding of HR industry technology, vendors and tools
● Ability to organize information, people and messages to
deliver strategic initiatives
● Familiarity with agile methodologies for project management
● Knowledge and experience with large scale project
implementations and ongoing support
