The Regional Vice President of Mission Integration is an executive leadership role responsible for the intentional strategic integration of CommonSpirit Health’s (CSH) mission, vision, and values into all regional service areas and the preservation of Catholic identity within Catholic caresites, both acute and ambulatory. The incumbent will lead the
sustainable implementation and operationalization of the functional areas of mission integration (spiritual care, ethics, formation, community health, and executive mission presence) by setting high goals, driving innovation, and fostering collaboration across the ministry to achieve exceptional outcomes.


Responsibilities

In collaboration with the System Mission Team, Regional Executive Leadership Team, and Regional Mission Team, provides strategic leadership in integrating CSH mission, vision, and values into the plans, policies, and processes of the service area and caresite operations, goals, and strategic cultural
transformation. 
● Drives mission innovation that positions CSH to be a leader in Catholic Healthcare, aligning CSH strategic pillars: Our People, Our Excellence, Our Future with mission integration. 
● Builds and maintains strong cross discipline partnerships to ensure key elements of Mission Integration and Catholic Identity 
● Responsible for sustainable operationalization of functional areas of Mission Integration, providing metric-based goals and annual accountability reports to key stakeholders. 

● Demonstrates strong decision-making skills and judgment in addressing ethical issues, providing ethical discernment for key stakeholders and/or service areas when applicable. 
● Initiates and fosters strong relationships with key community stakeholders, including CSH mission aligned community partners, community advocates, and local diocese. 
● Provides expertise in theology and Catholic social teaching to the development of One CommonSpirit.


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

Master’s Degree in healthcare management, theology, ethics, behavioral science, or related fields. Minimum of six (6) years of progressive responsibility in healthcare mission integration.  May include up to four (4) years of such responsibility in a related field.
Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory/management experience.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

Professional preparatory training (Masters level or equivalency) in theology, ethics, and community health.
