Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a platform strategist who will oversee, manage, and lead CommonSpirit Health’s CRM solutions including Salesforce products, including Sales and Service Cloud as well as Health Cloud and ancillary third party applications. The successful candidate will use their technical expertise, business acumen and fluid communication skills to translate the possible into reality. The candidate will be able to design and build solutions that span multiple platforms and include integration and authentication across systems, articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations. Ability to design, build solutions and manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale.

Job Responsibilities

This individual will be data-driven and skilled at thinking big for the long term and delivering measurable business results in the short term. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Create strategies, roadmaps and value capture opportunities in partnership with business partners
  • Collaborates with IT&D groups and CommonSpirit Health partners to deliver solutions to business partners
  • Hires, develops, retains strong talent.  Influences and supports staff professional growth and employee engagement 
  • Owns and manages budgets, staffing and business relationships
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Lead diverse and distributed full stack development teams 
  • Ability to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
  • Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews.  Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Lightning Components, and Custom front ends, etc.), integrations with back-office systems (using MuleSoft) and complex data migrations. Experience in one or more of these aspects of a Salesforce project is necessary.
  • Participate in development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment.
  • Work with project leadership to assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development.
  •  Maintain effective relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant information with the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.
  • Experience in creating a culture of customer service excellence with business customers and IT partners.
  • Act as the escalation Point for technical issues, dependencies that may impact milestones on the critical path. 
  • Supporting solutioning of components that are outside of the Salesforce platform: 
    • EHR platform knowledge. 
    • Security best practices.
    • Integration and data Migration. 
    • End to End Technical Solutions. 
  • Post-delivery - assists teams in supporting the live application and performs handoff and knowledge transfer activities, positioning the team for long term success.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related business areas or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience developing Salesforce customizations (Apex/VF).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working on complex Salesforce implementations. A minimum of 4 years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects.
  • Experience in business relationship management, strategy and roadmap development.
  • Experience in coaching and developing staff
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional and distributed teams, influencing senior level management and key stakeholders
