The posted compensation range of $45.95 - $66.63 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary
The Senior Integration Engineer improves the user experience by creating or enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement in partnership with the business, making recommendations, then designing and implementing solutions. The Senior Integration Engineer works on several solutions at a time that tend to be of high complexity. They may manage small projects and juggle multiple responsibilities.
The Senior Integration Engineer performs troubleshooting and issue resolution for highly complex software problems. Will have responsibility of mentoring associate engineers.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides leadership through team motivation, coaching, mentoring, and delegating.
- May be called upon to lead in major incidents or failure
- Participates in on-call rotations and Major incident resolution if required by role
- Lead smaller EAI teams in medium to large complex projects (and support issues) or functional areas of larger projects or programs
- Heavy emphasis on Clinical and Revenue Cycle management product lines and workflow
- Leads and coordinates code/peer reviews of multi-facility or application focused development work to insure it aligns to the business and technical requirements
- Collaborates with application and project team(s) to define design and unit testing scenarios and test scripts in alignment with business and system requirements
- Leads cross functional application development activities to achieve project objectives
- Designs, develops, tests, implements, and maintains solutions without direction
- Author enterprise policy, procedure or guidelines
- Ensures EAI deliverables are completed in a time, on budget, and at the highest quality
- Researches and recommends appropriate application and/or development best practices, and tools
- Develops and applies business knowledge in multiple functional areas
- Performs source code/versioning management function adhering to technical management guidelines
Qualifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.
- 7-8 years required
- Experience working with project life cycle and project management methodologies desired.
- Strong working knowledge of one or more data integration middleware products and/or technologies such as HL7 interface engine, IBM WebSphere Message Broker/IIB/ACE with MQ, Rhapsody, Axway product suite, API Framework, SFTP/FTP scripting required
- Experience working with HL7, HIPAA transactions sets, and EDI engines highly desired.
- Experience and understanding of hospital (Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle Management) or healthcare work flows.
