Responsibilities

This is a remote position.

Job Summary

This position has responsibility for coordinating the implementation and technical integration solutions of transactions related but not limited to Applications and Software Engineering.  This position works closely with applications and technical teams to ensure the efficient network connectivity and flow of information and data. Ensures that plans are followed and issues resolved in a manner that results in a successful implementation.

Functions in a consultative role using advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to implement, upgrade and support complex network and application systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary technical liaison to the Applications & Software Engineering Tower.
  • Acts as a general internal consultant on Infrastructure including network, security, integration and architecture initiatives.
  • Collaborates with all towers to ensure deployment of solutions meet standards.
  • Responsible for providing final Solution design to the governing board for approval.
  • Supports standardization of documentation and the integration of standards and practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of new developments and research related to technical architecture and healthcare IT trends.
  • Oversees efforts with key technical teams to understand future changes in IT standards and applies these to final designs.
  • Oversees complex configuration of IT and business requirements on all Software implementations and discovery efforts.
  • Works closely with managers, project managers and business partner leaders to define and develop or implement solutions.
  • Works with IT staff, business partners and leadership to help them understand potential risk, functionality, development approaches, possible enhancements and process improvements.
  • Provides advanced level technical support to resolve problems.
  • Works with IT staff to integrate processes that align with business strategy.
  • Works with enterprise architecture teams to integrate new entities and standards.
  • Stays connected with industry best practices and technical methodologies.
  • Contributes to the growth and development of IT staff through education activities in support of technical solutions. 
  • Works closely with committees as a liaison to aligning needs with application functionality.
  • Works with Project Managers, Leaders and Business partners on planning for implementation of formal and informal project requests including development of financial estimates.
  • Works with Project Managers, Leaders and project teams in support of final testing to resolve risks and issues.
  • Additional tasks/responsibilities as defined.
  • May require after hours support of go-live activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience in a Healthcare environment.
  • 7+ years required
  • Rhapsody delevopment experience required.
