The posted compensation range of $14.16 - $19.46 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the daily visits for all field clinicians that provide services in the home.
- High standards of customer service; consistently lives People First Behaviors; and follows the policies and procedures of the organization.
- Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
- Communicates promptly and appropriately with the field staff, patients, caregivers and patient care staff regarding scheduling needs.
- Primarily responsible for all incoming calls regarding scheduling. May assist with reassignment of case load during staff absence. Assigns and schedules the admissions, recerts, resumptions and visits.
- Reviews staff daily schedule for productivity.
- Collaborates with Intake on timely scheduling of new complete referrals.
- Requests authorization from financial intake for necessary payers to schedule visits.
- May coordinate delivery of supplies to patients' homes.
- Collaborates with the Manager of Clinical Services ensure clinicians meet caseload productivity standards.
- Communicates with the Manager of Clinical Services regarding special requests for visits and changes to scheduled visits due to staff absences or other issues requiring schedule changes.
- Communicates with clinical staff regarding scheduling, hospitalizations and discharges.
- Assists with the orientation of new hires as assigned by management.
- Elevates staff issues appropriately to leadership. These may be issues of attendance, and scheduling problems. Provides information regarding staffing needs to the manager.
- Participates as a member of the administrative support team; is cross-trained to other department support functions; provides back up relief coverage for these functions as needed. Assist with phone coverage as needed.
- Participates in quality improvement activities as appropriate.
- Run and evaluate all appropriate reports for scheduling
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years clerical/administrative support experience required.
- Prior home health experience and/or medical office administrative support experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and effective telephone manners required.
- Must posses strong organizational skills; the ability to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and tasks; have excellent attention to detail; and strong customer service skills with ability to work well with people.
