Responsibilities

At our facility, we prioritize the comfort of our patients, and we believe this begins with exceptional patient care. Our Patient Care Technicians are not just responsible for gathering patient information, assisting with meals, and tending to personal needs. They also hold a crucial position as a bridge between our patients and their care teams, playing a significant role in ensuring our patients' comfort and well-being. 

What you'll do: 

  • Your role as a Patient Care Technician is crucial as you contribute to the assessment of the health status of our patients. Your observations and actions can have a significant impact on their well-being, making you an essential part of our healthcare team.Communicates pertinent patient information to appropriate members of the treatment team with the direction of the Charge Nurse
  • Assist patients/families with light housekeeping duties such as assisting with meals or changing bed linens.
  • Report any changes in a patient's condition to the Nurse.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant, or previous military medic experience, or seeking degree in nursing, or previous healthcare experience 
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current American Heart Association BLS card
