Responsibilities

Position Overview:
As the System Director of Talent, Learning, and Capabilities Delivery, you will be responsible for leading and executing comprehensive organizational development strategies across a specific region of CommonSpirit Health. You will drive the design and delivery of innovative solutions that enhance leadership capabilities, team effectiveness, and organizational performance. Working closely with senior leadership, the People Team (HR), and cross-functional teams, you will ensure that our people-centered programs align with both regional and national business objectives.


Your expertise in talent management, talent development, organization development, and change management will be instrumental in helping our organization scale effectively and achieve our goals. You will lead a team of consultants and partner closely with leaders to address complex organizational challenges, enhance the employee experience, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of region-specific talent and organizational development strategies that align with the overall business goals. Provide thought leadership to senior executives on best practices in talent development, team effectiveness, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Consultative Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to regional business leaders, consulting on issues related to talent management, organizational culture, leadership development, and change initiatives. Partner with key stakeholders to assess organizational health and performance, offering tailored solutions to enhance productivity and engagement.
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Implement and optimize key organizational development initiatives, such as leadership development, performance management, and succession planning, to improve the overall effectiveness of the organization. Drive the adoption of new systems and processes that enhance organizational agility.
  • Talent Development and Learning Programs: Oversee the design and/or implementation of scalable, high-impact learning and development programs for leaders and teams, ensuring alignment with regional needs and strategic business objectives. Use data and analytics to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Culture and Change Management: Lead organizational culture and change initiatives across the region, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and values. Design and facilitate change management processes that help employees and leaders adapt to change and achieve business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the People Team, Talent Acquisition, Mission Integration, Strategy, Compensation, and other key business partners to drive holistic talent management strategies. Foster a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Talent, Learning, and Capabilities Delivery consultants, ensuring that each team member has the support, training, and resources needed to succeed. Foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes trust, innovation, growth, and results.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to inform organizational development strategies and decisions. Conduct regular evaluations to measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to optimize impact.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in organizational development, talent management, or management consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or regional management role. Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale organizational development and leadership programs.


Education: Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a related field. Certifications in organizational development, change management, or leadership development are a plus.

  • Proven Success: Demonstrated success in driving organizational transformation initiatives, designing and delivering leadership development programs, and improving organizational performance through strategic consulting.
  • Data and Analytics: Expertise in using data and analytics to measure and assess the effectiveness of organizational programs and strategies. Ability to present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Global/Matrix Experience: Experience working in a global or multi-region context, understanding the nuances of regional differences while aligning efforts with corporate strategy and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: At least 6+ years of experience managing and leading teams, with a focus on coaching, developing, and mentoring talent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to employees at all levels, from front-line staff to senior executives.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.) and other organizational development tools.
