Responsibilities

This is a remote position.

The Training and Communications Program Manager develops and manages documentation and training materials, and facilitates end-user training using a variety of delivery methods for supply chain-processes and systems. The individual will develop materials including manuals and e-learning/in-person/web meeting training documents in alignment with the direction of the Supply and Service Resource Management Director, Diversity, Sustainability & Education, and through collaboration with subject matter experts. As changes to the supply chain business model occur, this position will cultivate and implement training plans, communication and timelines for the Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system and other tools used throughout the organization. This function is responsible for supporting additional documentation and communications strategies for supply chain as required.

Key Responsibilities

Creation and ongoing maintenance of supply chain training material and communication of any changes related to supply chain processes, includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and maintain documentation that captures  each process related to the use of the ERP supply chain functionality. As business processes are changed, the documentation, communication, and audit controls will be reviewed and updated accordingly; confirm revisions with all stakeholders.
  • Create, manage and facilitate notification and/or training communications to stakeholders regarding process changes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop user manuals for the ERP system and other supply chain tools as necessary.
  • Develop e-learning modules including delivery of key content, learner engagement strategies, quizzes, and other related materials through the use of slides, e-learning design software, and other tools.
  • Design content, scripting and materials to deliver in-person and web meeting training as applicable for supply chain systems and tools.
  • Identify, track and manage metrics to articulate training effectiveness and progress across CommonSpirit Supply Chain and other users. 
  • Produce and maintain reports to track successful user completion of required training and provide follow up support to users and leaders to achieve mastery of content to support the business need. 

Training of end-users includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Develop and implement training plans based on needs-assessment, including scheduling, identifying attendees, presenters and trainers and building the agenda. When applicable for in-person training, designate travel schedule and logistics for trainer(s).
  • Deliver training sessions in a variety of delivery settings (in-person, web) to support system, division, and local level users and leadership.
  • Provide support and direction to other trainers in a variety of delivery settings.

Communication management includes, but not limited to the following:

  • Support leaders with communication plan development.
  • Manage communication regarding the ERP supply chain system to all levels of the organization.
  • Document and implement communication plans to support various strategies within supply chain. 
  • Ensure that all areas are aware and have a voice and a conduit to have their concerns addressed.

Will work directly with the SSRM Director, Diversity, Sustainability and Education to determine prioritization of work, communicate delays, and for the assignment of other initiatives or directives.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, curriculum and instruction, marketing, communications, or related field: required.                                                                                    
  • Master’s degree/advanced degree related to health care: preferred/desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare Supply Chain environment preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with ERP Applications such as Lawson, Oracle, Workday strongly preferred.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Excel, and Google workspace or Microsoft suite required.
  • Experience with e-learning development software, Articulate or other software preferred.
  • High adaptation to a standard model and how the process relates to other functional areas. 
  • Detailed knowledge of business process development.
  • Communicate effectively with various skill levels to include technical, clinical and non-clinical staff, directors, and managers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain process standardization throughout the system.
  • Understanding of internal controls.
  • Experience with large, multi-level organizations and the ability to work in a diverse environment.  
  • Strong customer service focus and commitment to the mission, vision and values of CommonSpirit Health.
