Responsibilities

Are you a highly accomplished Clinical Engineering leader with a proven track record of success? CommonSpirit Health seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Market Manager, Clinical Engineering to oversee the operations of multiple Physical Asset Services – Clinical Engineering (PAS-CE) departments. This is a pivotal leadership role offering significant impact on patient safety, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across a large healthcare system.


As Market Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple PAS-CE departments, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective services that exceed customer expectations and align with CommonSpirit's national program goals. You will be a key communicator, fostering strong relationships with market and region leadership and driving continuous improvement across the region.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Strategic Leadership & Communication: Lead and motivate your team, effectively communicating program goals, KPIs, and cost-saving initiatives to market/division leadership. Proactively manage and address customer and vendor communications.
  • Operational Oversight: Conduct regular site visits and meetings with department heads, ensuring timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and exceeding performance targets.
  • Financial Management: Oversee departmental budgets, manage expenses, ensure adherence to expenditure authority, and process financial documentation efficiently.
  • Team Development & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to PAS-CE account managers, fostering professional growth and standardization of service strategies. This includes regional vendor management, staff meetings, and objective setting.
  • Policy & Compliance: Develop and implement regional policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and conducting hospital-specific Program Quality Evaluations (PQEs).
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively network with peers, seeking innovative ideas and best practices to enhance service delivery and patient safety.

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Associate’s Degree in a related field required.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a senior/lead technician, with a minimum of five years of experience as an Account Manager.
  • Must have financial management skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of all elements of CHI PAS-CE Program and/or industry standard clinical engineering management.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • CHTM Certification
