Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
This role is crucial in supporting the successful implementation and ongoing utilization of the Epic Gold application within CommonSpirit Health. The Physician Enterprise (PE) Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Training Coordinator will be responsible for the development, creation, and delivery of comprehensive training materials and programs, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to diverse stakeholder groups. This includes designing and delivering engaging training content, coordinating training organization, and tracking learning effectiveness. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential. Moderate travel may be required to support training activities at various locations. Effective and weekly communication training updates for downstream PE RCM and stakeholder teams to include Finance and Operations learning effectiveness. Development and implementation of training plans for the Epic Gold implementation and post GO LIVE. This includes module training development, content creation and management, training coordination and organization as well as stakeholder communication and super user support.
ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership and oversight for the PE RCM Epic Gold implementation and Post GO LIVE support including goal setting, training/development, communication, and effective measurement of the project. Stakeholders and partners include National leadership, market leadership and super users for all teams and users to learn and succeed in current roles. Creation of documentation, along with the training leads, for reference and decisions.
Design, develop, and deliver engaging training materials for the Epic Gold application, catering to various learning styles and technical proficiency levels. This includes creating and maintaining training curricula, job aids, quick reference guides, and other supporting documentation. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders PE RCM, Finance, Operations, and Super User teams) informed about training opportunities, updates, and relevant information. This includes proactively identifying communication needs and developing tailored solutions.
Assist in the organization and coordination of activities for Super User teams, providing them with the necessary resources and support to effectively champion the Epic Gold application within their respective departments. This may include scheduling meetings, coordinating training sessions, and facilitating communication between Super User teams and other stakeholders. Manage the logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling, venue booking, equipment procurement, and participant registration. Track training attendance and completion rates.
Develop and implement methods to measure and report on the effectiveness of training programs. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing training content and delivery.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, experience with Epic or similar applications, proven record of training development and strong written
    and verbal skills. This candidate should possess at least five years of related healthcare work experience (including system and implementation
    knowledge) that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates attainment of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position may be substituted for two years of the education requirement (associate degree in related field required).

Required Licensure and Certifications

  • Epic certification in training or learning management certification

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

  • Familiarity with physician or professional services billing is preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills to include presentation, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills.
  • Ability to complete tasks and escalate issues to the stakeholders and decision-makers, as necessary.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities and adapt to change.
  • Effective communication skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, ability to troubleshoot, and initiative-taking.
  • Demonstrates qualities of assertiveness, a high sense of urgency, initiative (initiative-taker), effective communication skills including presentation skills, facilitation skills, and a positive attitude.
