Responsibilities

  Lead with Expertise: RN Critical Care Clinical Coordinator - St. Anthony Hospital, Gig Harbor

St. Anthony Hospital, a leader in critical care, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Clinical Coordinator to join our dedicated team.  

As our RN Critical Care Clinical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our most vulnerable patients. You will lead the development and implementation of clinical education programs, oversee daily operations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within our critical care unit.

In this role, you will:

  •  Lead the development and delivery of specialized clinical in-service training programs for critical care nursing staff, ensuring they possess the advanced skills and knowledge to manage complex patient conditions and deliver exceptional care.
  •  Collaborate with the department manager to oversee daily work unit operations, including scheduling, staffing, and addressing critical clinical, administrative, and operational issues.
  •  Champion quality improvement initiatives, collecting and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and safety in the critical care setting.
  •  Serve as a resource and mentor for critical care nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster professional growth and development in this specialized field.


Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who:

  •  Possesses a strong critical care nursing background with at least 5 years of experience, including at least 1 year of lead or charge RN experience in a critical care setting.
  •  Demonstrates a passion for education and a commitment to continuous improvement in the critical care environment.
  •  Is a skilled communicator and collaborator, able to effectively work with diverse teams and stakeholders in high-pressure situations.
  •  Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor.
  •  Is dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered care to critically ill patients and their families.

Licensure/Certification

  • Current active Washington State RN license.
  • Certification in specialty area to be obtained within one year of hire.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS Certification.
